CHAMOMILE GERMAN / BLUE ESSENTIAL OIL

Blue Chamomile, also known as German Chamomile. Chamomile is a good all round essential oil. Blue Chamomile has a soothing and uplifting effect on the senses and helps you to deal with skin, joint and muscle irritations as well as digestive and nervous discomfort. Sometimes spelled camomile. German blue Chamomile has traditionally been used for its wound healing properties. It has also been known to be beneficial for sensitive skin. German Chamomile has long been known for its calming properties. When freshly distilled this oil is blue due to the presence of azulene, which may tint your products a blue shade. It has a sweet, herbaceoius scent that some describe as straw-like or similar to an apple freshness.
